| We believe that climbing
with a professional guide should be the experience of a lifetime. Taking
on greater challenges, learning new techniques, and sampling different aspects
of the sport are best achieved in a one on one situation with a professional
who makes getting you those experiences his top priority. Exploring the
depths of your knowledge and pushing the boundaries of your experiences
are what good guiding is all about. Private guiding requires the greatest skills, knowledge and judgment of a climbing guide. It is the culmination of years of climbing experience. All Paragon guides are enthusiastic, positive and supportive, with decades of experience and vast local knowledge. We use locations of stunning beauty and dramatic vistas on routes chosen for their character, quality stone and aesthetic movement. We even take digital photos of you. We arrange private guiding on a tailored individual basis. That means we don't throw you in with a group of strangers, you will have your own guide. If you are with some friends, we restrict groups to a 3 to 1 guide ratio. 4 people will require 2 guides. We do not have 1/2 day and full day rates, private guiding is charged by the hour. That means that if you want 2 hours, we take you out and charge you for 2 hours, not a half day. Cost: $45.00 per hour for one person with a private guide.
